A little background. I was, at the age of 29, over 320 lbs and an over a pack a day smoker. On my 30th birthday I made the decision to change my life. I stopped smoking, stopped eating the garbage that was killing me and starting moving my butt. I worked very hard for over a year and got myself down to a very well put together 180lbs. Then in 2003 I met the woman who would be my wife and I got comfortable, a little weight went back on. We had a kid and a little more weight went on. My mother died unexpectedly in 2006 and a lot of weight went on and the cigarettes reappeared. Then, in April of 2009 my son was diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and I stopped caring about me altogether. It took a visit to an ER with a blood pressure off the charts for me to realize that to be here for my sons I needed to make a change.
So, I quit smoking, started eating right, tried to move more and ended up where I am now, ready to advance.
